選舉觀察計劃重視以實證為本去觀察、分析選舉公正；同時，我們相信一個有公信力和有效的選舉觀察，全民參與必不可少。
故此，今日正式啟動報料熱線，讓全港市民參與觀察今屆區議會選舉的競選過程及投票日是否符合一個「公平、公開和誠實」的公正選舉。
市民大眾和可透過文字描述和／或親自記錄的多媒體資訊，將涉及選舉公平公正的選區資訊傳送給我們的大專學生義工處理。來訊者，請註明資料所屬選區及區議會。如有需要，義工將會回覆閣下進一步跟進。

選舉觀察計劃回應黃之鋒被取消區議會參選資格的聲明

選舉觀察計劃不認同選舉主任以政治聯繫或主張為由，隨意宣布2019年區議會選舉海怡西參選人黃之鋒的提名無效而撤銷其參選資格。
該區選舉主任一直拖延確認黃之鋒的提名資格，不理會他已簽妥法定文件及確認書的要求，反而三次去信要求他解釋其立場和香港眾志的主張，最終剝奪黃之鋒的參選權及該區選民的選擇。
我們認為，選舉主任蔡亮明顯對候選人進行與法律要求不相關的思想審查，目的就是將他的情況說成「在迫不得已才聲稱...作出妥協，放棄有關主張，而非真心如此」，明顯涉及政治考慮，對選舉公正構成嚴重打擊。
