SARDEGNA LEGEND RALLY 2024
Since its first edition in 2006, the Sardegna Legend Rally covers 600 kilometers off-road, featuring new routes each year that explore Sardinia's cultural and scenic areas. Competitors navigate using a road book or GPS tracks.
As a pure off-road navigation event, it serves as a key preparatory school for "real" rallies, with routes crafted by the team behind the Sardegna Rally Race of the World Championship. Sharing the same DNA but with lower difficulty, the event spans three stages.
This unique non-competitive rally by Bike Village offers a more relaxed atmosphere, with famous refreshment points and a final beach barbecue party. Limited to 120-150 participants, the 2024 edition promises another thrilling adventure.

2 race days of Italian Baja 2024
This year the race will, as usual, be international, but the contestants will be coming only from the old continent because of an alternation criteria in the World Championship competitions. No problem in the FIA’s ranking, considering the fact that Mauro Tavella was just confirmed in the Cross Country Rally Commission, whose staff has been reduced and several members replaced. This shows how know-how, good relations and very good reports keep being key factors for the dialogue with the highest ranks of the Federation.
The Italian Baja 2024 doesn’t intend to unveil its secret until the days before the start, but it’s already clear that a double effort to compete against the competitors was made: the enrolling taxes were reduced by 15% and the race is concentrated just in two days, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th, with additional savings on travel costs. On Thursday 4th the sportive checks on crews and vehicles are planned, while on Sunday 7th the Fuoristrada Club will be busy on a sort of “Labour Day” to dismantle the headquarters in Pordendone’s Interporto Centro Ingrosso, logistic base of the competition for the fourth year in a row.

As you can see, we are on our way to Genoa to board for Sardinia. We properly prepare for this beautiful event that has been with us for many years now.
Naturally, this event has become a classic in amateur rallies, but it is also suitable for professionals to train in driving with navigation using the roadbook, and of course, for enthusiasts who love this wonderful rally discipline.
This year we will cross Sardinia from Coast to Coast. It is a special edition that I hope will be enjoyed by everyone.
We have a substantial female presence, so hooray for the women, who are a growing segment. We are pleased to have them in the paddock and to chat with them about our passion.

The Spanish Cross Country Rally Championship (or Campeonato de España de Rallyes Todo Terreno) has now passed the halfway mark with three rounds of the six scheduled.
The third round, Baja Lorca - Ciudad del Sol, offered participants a challenging route.

Brad Salazar will participate in the 56th edition of the Baja 500 by SCORE International on June 1st. His co-driver will be Marco Guerron. They will compete with the LUMENIA RACING TEAM. Their teammates will be the Argentinians Diego Blas and Diego Leo Ulloa.

Question: Why is the coefficient for SSV 1 instead of 1.2, considering Alexander Toril was disqualified after the finish of the Baja Greece?
Answer: This is a legal issue, not just related to motorsport. Initially, there were 7 participants registered in the SSV category (i.e., the coefficient is 1.2 when there are more than 5 participants in the category). Almuhna was disqualified before the start, leaving 6. Toril was disqualified after the finish, and the Stewards' decision in his case means that his participation was illegal from the beginning. Thus, there were legally 5 participants in the SSV category, resulting in a coefficient of 1.
However, in cases of other reasons for disqualification, where the crew is not removed from the classification of previous stages, this would not affect the number of participants and the coefficient. For example, if a crew receives illegal assistance, they will be disqualified, but this will not impact the coefficient.
