Most are so caught up by misery and glimpses of societal happiness that we forget to stop, observe, and therefore understand the planet in which we live.

I have never, once, ever, rudely stood a person up. Not when I was young, nor will I when I'm old. I wish people I knew and the people they knew could say the same.
If someone spends all their time telling you how awful you are, it's usually a tell-tale sign of how awful they are.
