Real Eastenders of the 80s discussing the stoic nature of Cockney humour and the lack of realism conveyed in the newly released show "Eastenders". My Grandad and many others taught me this code from young and it's his memory within me that will keep it alive until I join him.

If only the entirety of England still looked and felt like the village of Beverley in 1964. πŸ’”β³οΈ

Like architecture, nearly all cars these days have become obtusely modernistic and no longer compliment their surroundings. Wouldn't it be lovely if we kept the classic shape and simply upgraded the engine. Yes, aerodynamics are important for speed, etc, but most cars never reach certain speeds what with traffic. It would be absolutely wonderful if someone began the trend of bringing back a look that made the country more photogenic as opposed to the futuristic motors that ruin the scenery.

You wouldn't think that we used to have cycling proficiency tests considering the fact that we now allow the less sensible members of society wizz around on electric powered rental bikes as if they understand the rules of the road, or, basic courtesy.

It's very unBritish of the British government to tell the British people that we need the rest of the world to save Britain from the British.

Be among the frost far-flung
Or home amongst the heather.
Never shall our nerve be rung,
So long as we're together.

UPCOMING Pub/History #Tour(s) for OCTOBER

(This coming Saturday)
TOUR: #Waterloo
πŸ—“ 18th October
πŸ‘₯ Waterloo Station
πŸ•¦ 11 AM

TOUR: #Holborn, #Clerkelwell, and #Bloomsbury
πŸ—“ 25th October
πŸ‘₯ Farringdon Station
πŸ•¦ 11 AM

We will be visiting some of #London's most famous and impressive pubs whilst venturing into various historical epochs. Britain's pubs were never just places to drink, but a much needed excuse to be among one another. And of course, during many fascinating times in history. The public houses we still walk past today played their parts in everything from law to war. Join us for a walk and a few refreshments as we delve into the living museums of #Britain.

The tours will last between 2-1/2 to 3 hours (usually more) and will (usually) end in a pub.

Prices: Β£20 per ticket (for over 18s),
16-18: Β£10
Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult)

Thank you to those who've attended so far. I look forward to seeing you again as well as meeting new people. 🀝

Imagine being so scared of a few evil names being exposed that you make the entirety of the Internet clarify its age and identity just to see pictures of pubs or flowers.

We will never know what was truly going through the minds of the resilient people who uneccesserily lived through incredible hardships in the false hope that we would live happy lives.

We're almost so far from a world worth living in that very soon, nobody will know how to get it back.
