2013 experience from SFI

I think people started forgetting about what SFI did to sidharthan. It is not getting out of my head. I posted this before as a comment, but I'm posting it again. This is my first direct post on r/kerala.

I can't go back and change the past, but I want people to know what their beloved party truly is. Also, I know many kids are facing or have faced what I experienced. I just want to let them know to be brave and not let the past stop them.

I still have that mark on my hand as a reminder... 🫠 They beat me in front of everyone just because I told the teacher that I needed an exam to get a proper internal mark. I failed in that exam because they forced me to go on strike, and I couldn't resist. As a 18-year-old kid from a village, I was afraid. They targeted me and beat me in front of the whole college. They gathered all the boys into a big classroom and beat us with the help of local goons.( they call it as general body meeting) After beating me, they announced to the whole college that I misbehaved with a girl in SFI, and she complained against me. I was just a studious guy and didn't even know most of these girls.

That evening, I decided to jump out of the running train when I was on my way back home. While that thought going on, My mom called me and told me not to stand near the door. I cried a lot in that train. Later, when I went back to college, they again took me to the unit room and threatened me. They said if I ever did anything without their permission, they would break my arm so that I wouldn't be able to write any exams. Everyone stopped talking to me. Even my classmates. That day, I went back home and cut my vein to end my life. Fortunately, my parents saw, and later they told me to leave that hell. I left that college, and after one year, I joined an engineering college. I know it is weird, but when I look back, I just need to hug that poor 18 year old kid who went through that.. 🙂
