Hundreds year old Rama Temple in Kadalundi?

Searching for clues for location of erstwhile Beypore Railway Station, I came across this mention in William Logan’s Malabar Manual (1887) of an interesting Rama temple in Kadalundi.

The description goes like this: There is a temple of some note in the neighbourhood with a tradition going back to Rama’s conquest of Ceylon. The services rendered on that occasion by the monkeys secure daily food at the present day for their descendants left behind by Rama, on his return journey, at this temple. They come up boldly directly they are called. There is also a sacred spring which holds only a gallon or so of water, but refills as soon as the water is drawn.

However, I could not find any temple in Google maps or general search that matches this description. Are there any locals or history freaks who knows about this?

Bad experience at Putharikkandam comfort station

You already know where this is going from the title. I had to piss, paid 5 bucks and went to the gents toilet. A dude wearing a cap and mask was waiting outside with his leg on the railing.

I went inside kinda suspicious because my pessimistic mind started to think that maybe he was waiting for dudes to harass. I chocked it up to pessismism, stood and the urinal and waited for the piss to come out which was taking longer than usual. The dude comes up and stands beside my urinal. There's only 2 urinals there so I again let it go. Then I saw him peeking at my dick from the corner of my eye.

Again, I thought I was seeing things. Then I decided to check for sure and looked at him directly. He made eye contact, looked down at me and then at himself. I braced for the worse and looked. Sure enough, he was jacking off looking at me trying to piss.

I'm an ingerent "nattell illathavan" so I didn't react physically (kavaalam pottum vidham kodukkanam enn ondayirunnu,kai ongiyilla), instead I called him a "thallevoli". Hearing this he moved away, I didmy business and went to wash up. He was staring at me through the reflection of the mirror.


When I left, I wanted to go back in and beat the living shit out of the motherfucker. Again, I'm an inherent "nattel illaathavan" so I didn't. I know "kundan" is really offensive and not politically correct, but people like him deserve the name and worse.

Any profitable farming ideas to do on 75 cents of land?

It's just me and dad and we have vacant land around 75 cents just lying around. I always wanted to start my own business and since dad likes to do farming I thought why not do krishi.
