Weird thing about my parents recently

So my parents both worked abroad but around 2-3 years ago me and my dad moved back here for my education and some personal issues while my mom stayed back. Now growing up, while I knew they loved each other, they were not really affectionate to each other at least from what I noticed from them growing up. They were pretty busy and also lowkey for all I know.

However ever since we moved, i don’t know why but parents have been more lovey dovey than well, ever. He started calling her “mwole” and “eda”, they start joking around each other more often. Once she comes over here for leave, they start acting more openly romantic around me and my grandparents. And it’s not just that.

Last month, when my mom went back, i went to my dad’s room for his charger when I saw both of them on a zoom call watching Premalu. It’s cute and all but I just don’t seem to get why they are acting so romantic all of sudden since we moved than compared to my almost entire childhood. Did being separated make them long for each other more and have them start being affectionate or something? idk. I love their energy now. Im just curious how this is happening now.
