Here’s what you need to know: Voting delegates are grouped into different houses based on their interests and focus: technology, decentralization, community, or finance. And based on your responses, you’ll be matched with a specific house and presented with a choice of delegates in that house who best align with your voting style. Houses are as follows: Maxius Decentralus, Tradium Levarugum, Scholar of Excecior, and Shiregain Prosperus.

Technical Expert - Someone with deep knowledge in blockchain development and decentralized protocols.

Business Expert- An individual skilled in evaluating financial and growth potentials of projects.

📝 How to Apply
If you're interested in joining, create a "Grant Committee Candidacy" post on the Grant Proposals forum by September 22, 03:00 PM UTC. Follow the format provided in the detailed announcement for your post.

🌙 At Moonbeam, we believe in the power of community-driven decisions. While we often suggest changes and updates, we make sure not to use our tokens to sway the voting outcome.

🚫 Foundation's Voting Rule: We typically DON'T vote with our tokens.

🔍 Exceptions:

1. Important Updates: These are crucial changes that can impact the network's functionality, security, or overall user experience. Examples include:

- Runtime Upgrades: Enhancements to the core software.
- Security Patches: Fixes to potential vulnerabilities.
- Network Expansions: Introducing new features or integrations.

For such updates, we might vote "Abstain" to help reach the required support level.

Example: Think of it like abstaining from a group decision but still being counted as present.

2. Urgent Situations: In emergencies, if the OpenGov Tech Committee asks, the Foundation may vote "Abstain" to speed up a decision-making process.

Example: It's like fast-tracking a crucial decision during emergencies.

📌 Note: Voting "Abstain" is our way of saying, "We're here, but the Foundation won't influence the final decision."

This integration was initially proposed by Blockchain at University of Michigan and now marks the first time users on Polkadot can access Unsiwap powered by Moonbeam smart contracts, an Oku frontend, and Wormhole messages!
