⭕️ Complications of blood transfusion :

¹ Hemolysis→ most serious 
² Febrile reaction→ MC
³ Allergic reaction
⁴ Infection: Hepatitis, HIV, Malaria
⁵ Anaphylactic reaction 
⁶ Thrombocytopenia
⁷ Transfusion related acute lung injury→ MC cause of death in transfusion 
⁸ Transfusion related circulatory overload (TACO)
⁹ repeated transfusions over long periods may get iron overload
