Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
“A man’s Salat in congregation is twenty-five times more rewarding than his Salat at home or in his shop, and that is because when he performs his Wudhu’ properly and proceeds towards the mosque with the purpose of performing Salat in congregation, he does not take a step without being raised a degree (in rank) for it and having a sin remitted for it, till he enters the mosque. When he is performing Salat, the angels continue to invoke Blessings of Allah on him as long as he is in his place of worship in a state of Wudhu’. They say: `O Allah! Have mercy on him! O Allah! Forgive him.’ He is deemed to be engaged in Salat as long as he waits for it.”

إِنَّ قَـٰرُونَ ڪَانَ مِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ‌ۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكُنُوزِ مَآ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُ ۥ لَتَنُوٓأُ بِٱلۡعُصۡبَةِ أُوْلِى ٱلۡقُوَّةِ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُ ۥ قَوۡمُهُ ۥ لَا تَفۡرَحۡ‌ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَرِحِينَ (٧٦)

📖 Indeed Qārūn Was Of The People Of Musa But He Transgressed Against Them And We Gave Him Of Treasures Whose Keys Would Burden a Group of Strong Men. When His People Said To Him, Do Not Rejoice. Allah Does Not Love Those Who Rejoice. [Al-Qasas:76][28:76]

وَٱبۡتَغِ فِيمَآ ءَاتَٮٰكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلۡأَخِرَةَ‌ۖ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا‌ۖ وَأَحۡسِن ڪَمَآ أَحۡسَنَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيۡكَ‌ۖ وَلَا تَبۡغِ ٱلۡفَسَادَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ (٧٧)

📖 And Seek Through That Which Allah Has Given You The Home Of The Hereafter And Do Not Forget Your Share Of The Duniya And Do Good As Allah Has Done Good To You And Seek Not Corruption In The Land/Earth. Indeed Allah Does Not Love Corrupters. [Al-Qasas:77][28:77]

Taraweeh Starts Tonight إن شاء الله
After ‘Esha@ 9:15 PM CDT

Sisters Entrance Now Moved to the Rear Of the Masjid.

The Doors Will be Locked Whenever the Masjid is Full.

Proper Masking is Required Especially Because the Spacing Between Individuals will be Reduced as Needed. Please Cover Your Nose & Mouth At All Times Except when Opening Fast Or Drinking Water.

During ‘Esha & Taraweeh Prayers, Families, Individuals From the Same Household & Vaccinated Individuals will be Asked to Move Forward and Pray Together without Distance in the First Few Rows Ignoring the Marks. All Those who want to Distance will be asked to move to the Rear Rows Following the Marked Spots.

The Marked Spots will be Followed in All Other Prayers InshaAllah.

Fajr Prayers Will be 5:15am From Tomorrow InshaAllah and Will be Changed Every Few Days by 10 Minutes.

Maghrib Prayers will be 10 Minutes After Adhaan to Accommodate Brothers Opening Fast At Home.

Feeling Sleepy in Taraweeh?

Al-Imam Ibn AlQayyim said in Zaad Al-Ma'aad:

And Allah sent down drowsiness upon them, as a comfort [for them] from Him, in the battle of Badr and Uhud. And drowsiness in war and times of fear is a sign of assurance, and it is from Allah, and [drowsiness] in prayer and sittings of remembrance and knowledge is from Shaytan.
