Improved Login Flow You can choose to share either your current or your live location. Send My Current Location will provide a one-time update about where you are. App Passcode Options To start a Secret Chat, you can either tap on the option in the hamburger menu and select a contact to start the chat. Once you do that, you will find additional options to “unlock the app with fingerprint” and “auto-lock” it after a specific duration.

For maximum privacy, you can create secret chats that use end-to-end encryption. These aren't stored on Telegram's servers, so you can only access them with your specific phone.
