Like many communication apps, Telegram includes chatbots. Bots add useful functions both on their own and into your chats; they can do everything from checking the weather to playing games. Another security feature that adds usability is usernames. Instead of giving people your phone number, you can simply give them your username. This gives you better control over what information is out there, and how people can contact you in the future. A recently introduced feature, Telegram’s new Group Voice Chats allow users in a group to initiate a common group voice chat for all members. However, users can choose to drop out of the ongoing group chat and re-enter at any given point. To make use of this, head into any group of choice and tap on the group name. Now head to the three-dot menu on the top right and choose Start Voice Chat.

Now, tap Profile Photo. Now, you have three options: In Telegram, you can use hashtags in your Channels and Groups. When you use a hashtag in a message, that word becomes clickable. And, channel or group users able to click the hashtag to get instant search results from their Telegram messages. Secret chats You can also customize your chat background image in “Chat Background” in Chat Settings.

Polls and Quiz Mode To do this, head over to Telegram’s settings by sliding over the hamburger menu from the left of the app. Here, choose ‘Settings’ and then click on ‘Chat Settings’.
