The beautiful art of tiling is one of the old handicrafts of Iran, the most beautiful & oldest of which are the turquoise tiles of Isfahan & the historical inscriptions of the minarets of the Seljuk era are decorated with them.
In 8th Hijri century, this beautiful art was widely used to decorate buildings & it continued until the end of 12th century (the end of Safavid dynasty).
At first, this art was used for mosques but gradually it entered homes as well.

هنر زیبای کاشیکاری از هنرهای دستی و قدیمی ایران است که زیباترین و قدیمی ترین آنها کاشی های فیروزه ای اصفهان است و کتیبه های تاریخی مناره های دوران سلجوقی با آنها تزیین شده است.
قرن هشتم هجری دورانی است که این هنر زیبا برای تزیین بناها کاربرد فراوان پیدا کرد و تا اواخر قرن دوازدهم هجری (پایان صفویه) ادامه داشت.
در ابتدا این هنر مخصوص مساجد بود ولی به تدریج به منازل نیز راه یافت.

Spahbod Khorshid, the highest natural arch in the world:
Near Savadkoh in Alborz mounts, inside a natural arch which is the largest natural arch in the world, a legendary fortress with a unique architectural structure is located that is called Spahbod Khorshid. This is one of the most spectacular places in Iran & the only fortress in the world that has this huge architectural form, volume & structure with 40m arch.
In front of the cave there's a huge abyss that makes it very difficult to enter. Due to the presence of drinking water in the cave, it was possible to resist there for a long time in the past.
Inside the cave, there're rooms which which was constructed in Sassanian era.


اسپهبد خورشید، بلندترین طاق طبیعی جهان:
در نزدیکی سوادکوه البرز درون طاقی طبیعی که بزرگترین قوس طبیعی جهان است، دژی افسانه‌ای و پرعظمت با ساختار منحصر‌به‌فرد معماری قرار گرفته که اسپهبد خورشید نامیده می‌شود. این اثر تاریخی یکی از شگفت‌انگیزترین نقاط باستانی ایران و تنها دژی در دنیاست که از این فرم، حجم و ساختار عظیم معماری با دهانه ۴۰ متر برخوردار است.


در مقابل غار پرتگاه مهیبی قرار دارد که ورود به آن را بسیار مشکل می‌سازد. به دلیل وجود آب آشامیدنی در غار، در گذشته امکان مقاومت به مدت طولانی در آن وجود داشته‌است.
داخل غار دارای اتاق‌هایی است که قدمت ساخت آن‌ها به دوره ساسانیان بازمی‌گردد می‌گردد.
