๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท Now we have a situation where, for the first time since independence, we are the closest to the normalization of [Armenian-Turkish] relations. I think we should use those opportunities if the opposite side's motivations are really sincere, because we have had the experience of normalizing relations when the Turkish side backed down at some point. It is natural that they have their own interests, and we must take into account that these interests do not often coincide with ours. [Alen Simonyan] |1lurer.am|
๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ The meeting of RA and RF Deputy Ministers of Defense Karen Brutyan and Alexander Fomin took place. Urgent issues of Russian-Armenian military and military-technical cooperation, as well as the state of regional security, were discussed. [Russian Ministry of Defense]
๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Sergey Lavrov stated at a joint press conference with Jeyhun Bayramov that the creation of checkpoints in the Lachin corridor is not planned.
๐Ÿ—ฃ "The mode of operation of the Lachine Corridor must fully comply with the first tripartite declaration of November 9, which means the need to ensure the free movement of civil and humanitarian goods and civilians. This is exactly what we are striving for, first of all through the Russian peacekeeping force. There is no plan to create any checkpoints there (in the Lachin Corridor-ed.)," he said.
๐Ÿ“Œ RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the 52nd session of the UN Human Rights Council and delivered a speech.

๐Ÿ—ฃ "We believe that the protection of the human rights of the people of Nagorno Karabakh has been continuously neglected. It has been around 80 days since Azerbaijan blocked the Lachin Corridor, the only road connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia and the world. Azerbaijan has also disrupted the electricity supply and regularly interrupts the gas supply. As a result, the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh are on the verge of a humanitarian disaster. At the same time, Azerbaijan announces at the highest level that it can lift the blockade for all those who want to leave Nagorno-Karabakh. This is nothing more than slow ethnic cleansing." ๐Ÿ”— Read more
๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Lavrov stated that they see how the EU openly "abuses" its relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan, including by advancing "its so-called mission that raises serious doubts from the point of view of legitimacy" in the territory of Armenia. According to him, the mission raises many questions. "Nevertheless, it is the sovereign choice of the parties, with whom to cooperate, with whom not," he said.

๐Ÿ“Œ He added that Russia is guided by the principle of non-harm and support in its actions. "Not all players are guided by such principles, especially those who are far from the South Caucasus. They want to work here not for something, but against someone. We see it and we are sure that the parties directly involved in the process also see it," Lavrov said at a joint press conference with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov.

The monument commemorating the victims of March 1 was opened in Yerevan. The author of the sculpture is Albert Vardanyan, it is called "Influence and Counteraction". At the opening ceremony, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced.
๐Ÿ—ฃ "March 1 is not a day of mourning, of course we mourn the fact of the victims, we commemorate their memory, but March 1 has a wider context. The struggle for life of our brothers who died that day is about something else entirely. The struggle and sacrifices of March 1 have reached their end, because today falsifying elections in RA has already turned a page from which there will be no return, and its guarantor is the RA people," said Nikol Pashinyan.
๐Ÿ“ข The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh commented on today's meeting.

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ"During the meeting, humanitarian issues were discussed in the context of the need for the immediate opening of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan.
