Should You Trust Telegram? Pros of switching Sharing your location lets others keep an eye on your progress to a destination or help look out for your safety. In Telegram, open a chat, tap the paper clip button, and choose Location to share it.

If you don’t want messages in your secret chats to hang around forever, Telegram lets you set self-destruct timers to permanently remove them. After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing. You can also customize your chat background image in “Chat Background” in Chat Settings. Bots that are integrated into the Attach attachment menu can now also work in groups and channels in addition to one-on-one chats.
