It is not acceptable for anyone to mock Jesus (PBUH) under any circumstances. Even if what they base the mockery on happens to be Christian iconography, as is the case with the Olympic ceremony in Paris.

If the intent is to harm the Prophet Jesus (PBUH), then it is no different to mocking Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). It is as the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Actions are by their intentions [...]" [Bukhari 6689]

Dawah requires 3 things:

١. Knowledge before it.
٢. Gentleness throughout it.
٣. Patience after it.

🔹️Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani:

That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"Whoever prepares a fighter in Allah's cause, he has participated in a military expedition, and whoever looks after the family of a fighter, he has participated in a military expedition."
