Beware of Intentionally Harming Muslims

It is prohibited and a display of the character of Jahiliyah (ignorance) for a believer to wish to intentionally/purposely harm another believer with the hands or tongue because the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُ مَنْ أَمِنَهُ النَّاسُ عَلَى دِمَائِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ
"The Muslim is the one from (the harm of) whose tongue and hand (other) Muslims are safe, and the believer is the one with whom the people trust their blood and their wealth."

Not only is it prohibited and a display of jahiliyah for a believer to want to harm another believer intentionally/purposely, but if he does harm him, he is setting himself up for being harmed by Allah. the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

مَنْ ضَارَّ مُسْلِمًا ضَارَّهُ اَللَّهُ, وَمَنْ شَاقَّ مُسَلِّمًا شَقَّ اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
“He who causes harm to a Muslim will be harmed by Allah, and he who acts in a hostile manner against a Muslim, will be punished in the same way by Allah.”
