Last week, a special anniversary event was held to celebrate 40 years of Prodrive's success. The celebration was attended by Sébastien Loeb, Dani Sordo, and Cristina Gutiérrez.
Time to plan Dakar 2025.

As always, huge thanks to the teams that help Cross-Country Rally News move around during the races.

On January 18th, I’m looking for a transfer from Shubaytah to Dubai (or any location in the UAE).

As usual – transfer in exchange for an interview.
Dias and Santos win while Ferreira is crowned champion

A day of consecration for some, resignation for others, the Baja Oeste de Portugal closed the national TT championships in cars, motorcycles, quads and SSVs. João Dias was the strongest in the cars, but it was João Ferreira who took the title.

Middle East Baja Cup leader in the Challenger category, Maha Hamali, will compete in the Jordan Baja alongside co-driver Oriol Mena in a Can-Am Maverick in the Dark Horse team. The Saudi female driver finished third at her home race in Hail and second in Qatar just a week and a half ago. She currently has 66 points in the standings.

🎤I'm looking forward to the Jordan Baja, the third round of the Middle East Championship, where we've reached the top of the standings, and our goal is to maintain that lead.

It's my first time racing in Jordan, and I'm both excited and thrilled to compete here. Jordan is a country with a deep passion for motorsports, known for its many renowned and long-established names in the field.

The competition in the Challenger category is intense, but our ambition is to reach the highest level. We aim to return as leaders and finish the race safely.
World Baja Cup leader Edouard Pons will compete in the Jordan Baja alongside co-driver Jaume Betriu in a Taurus T3 Max in the Challenger category in the Nasser team. Pons currently leads the standings with 154 points, ahead of his closest competitors, Khalid Aljafla with 147 points and Diego Martinez with 136 points. This will be Pons' second participation in the Jordan Baja.

🎤We're very happy to be back, this is my second time at Baja Jordan. Apart from my accident in the last race, I have great memories because it was a great combination of dunes, sand roads, stony roads and normal roads, which means that navigation is key here. It's an open desert in many parts and it's fun. I'm very happy to have the chance to drive the Taurus here. And of course we'll be fighting a lot.

There are only two rounds left in this championship. We are only seven points ahead, so anything can happen in the next two races. But the car is in the best shape, we have done a great job to have the best car for the race. Nasser Racing did a great job to have a perfect car for these conditions and we are so positive with Jaume to win here and get the points to be closer to the championship. I am very excited to race again in this red desert, which I think is the most amazing place in the world.
