You can also select who can add a link to your account when forwarding messages, who can call you, and who can add you in groups.

Telegram has a unique feature called Channels that allow you to broadcast messages to large audiences. Telegram supports two layers of secure encryption. Cloud Chats use server-client encryption while Secret Chats use an additional layer of client-client encryption.
