After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing. To enable or disable this service, go to “Settings”, “Notification and Sounds”, and swipe down to the “Other” section. You will also find a “Repeat Notifications” option, which you can select as per your convenience. While you can receive/send files irrespective of their type and size, you can disable automatic media download and auto-play media to save mobile data. Since non-secret chats and files are stored in the cloud, you can access them from any device by logging into your account.
