Telegram is a great all-around messenger, especially when you start using its best features and know everything it's capable of. Here, Telegram will give you some information about what happens when you change your number. Basically, all your messages will be moved to the new number and your new number will be automatically added to all your existing Telegram contacts, barring the blocked contacts. It’s way easier then re-sharing your new number with everyone. To change the number, tap on the “Change Number”, enter the new number and follow the process on your screen. Chat folders

If you don’t want messages in your secret chats to hang around forever, Telegram lets you set self-destruct timers to permanently remove them. After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing. To mute a chat in Telegram, head over to the chat in question. Next, tap the name at the top and then hit the mute button. Telegram users will now be able to press and hold any items in the list to reorder them and change their priority – downloading the top file first. Telegram gives you an option where you can select who can see your last seen time. To configure this, go to “Settings”, “Privacy and Security” and then tap on “Last Seen & Online”. You can share it with everybody, or people in your contact list, or nobody, or add exceptions like “never share with” XYZ. To change your default folder, press and hold a folder in your chat list > Reorder > and drag your preferred folder to the first space.
