On the 20th anniversary of the stabilishment of the FEACC, Transparency Ethiopia has been selected and awarded as the best Civil Society Organization(CSO) in Ethiopia recognizing it's significant contribution in ethics building and anti-corruption efforts at a national level.

We would like to congratulate all members (GA, Board, staff, associates, international and local partners, networks, doners, ...) for your tireless effort and assistance in the fight against corruption amidest all the challenges that we have been facing since TE's stabilishment (above 18 years). Fighting corruption in our context (in a context where corruption with all its manifestations has become a culture) seems impossible. But, if each and everyone of us (as an individual or as an organization) tries our best discharging our responsibilities selflessly, we are sure that the evil will gradually be evicted. Hence, Transparency Ethiopia and its members have proved that it is possible to fight against this evil with selflessness amidest all the challenges you face. We highly appreciate your tireless effort. Please keep it up!!! Congratulations for the recognition we are given!!! I am sure we will do more!!! This is the begning of the end.

የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አስተዳደር ፍትህ ቢሮ እና ሙስናን ለመዋጋት የአለም አቀፉ ጥምረት አካል የሆነው የትራንስፓረንሲ ኢንተርናሽናል የኢትዮጵያ ቅርንጫፍ ጥር 24 ቀን 2014 ዓ.ም. በጋራ መስራት የሚያስችለቸውን የመግባቢያ የስምምነት ሰነድ የተቋማቱ ከፍተኛ ሀላፊዎች በተገኙበት ተፈራረሙ፡፡
የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አስተዳደር ፍትህ ቢሮ እና ትራንስፓረንሲ ኢንተርናሽናል በጋራ ለመስራት የተስማሙበት ፕሮጀክት “በኢትዮጵያ የፀረ ሙስና ትግሉን ለመደገፍና ዲሞክራሲያዊ አስተዳደርና የህግ የበላይነትን ለማስፈን በተቋማት ውስጥ ግልፀኝነትና ተጠያቂነትን ለማስፈን እንዲቻል የባለድርሻ አካላትን ተሳትፎ ለማረጋገጥ” የሚል ሲሆን የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አስተዳደር ፍትህ ቢሮን በመወከል የቢሮው ኃላፊ የሆኑት ወ/ሮ ጽዋዮ ሙሉነህ ሲሆኑ ትራንስፓረንሲ ኢንተርናሽናልን በመወከል ደግሞ የድርጅቱ ዋና ዳይሬክተር የሆኑት አቶ ሳሙኤል ካሳሁን ናቸው፡፡
በስምምነት ሰነዱ ላይ እንደተገለፀው ይህ ፕሮጀክት ተግባራዊ የሚደረገው በአዲስ አበባ፣ አዳማ፣ ባህርዳር እና መቀሌ ከተሞች ሲሆን በእነዚህ ከተሞች የሚገኙ በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ የሀገሪቱ ዜጎችን ተጠቃሚ ያደርጋል ተብሎ ይጠበቃል፡፡ ይህ ፕሮጀክት ከላይ በተጠቀሱት ከተሞች ውስጥ ከሚገኙ ዩኒቨርስቲዎች፣ ከከተሞቹ አስተዳደር፣ ከስነ-ምግባርና ፀረ-ሙስና ኮሚሽኖች፣ ከህዝብ እንባ ጠባቂ ተቋማት፣ መንግስታዊ ካልሆኑ ድርጅቶች እና ጉዳዩ ከሚመለከታቸው መንግስታዊና መንግስታዊ ካልሆኑ ተቋማት ጋር በትብብር እንደሚሰራ ተጠቅሷል፡፡
በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አስተዳደር ፍትህ ቢሮ እና በትራንስፓረንሲ ኢንተርናሽናል መካከል በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ በዋነኝነት የሚሰራው ስራ የንቃተ-ህግ እና የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ስራዎች እና ለተለያዩ ጉዳቶች ሰለባ ለሆኑ ዜጎች ነፃ የህግ ድጋፍ አገልግሎትን መስጠት ላይ ሲሆን ይህም የእነዚህን የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች ድምፅ በሚገባ አጉልቶ እንዲሰማ ለማስቻል እና ችግሮቻቸውን ለመፍታት ይረዳል ተብሎ ታምኖበታል፡፡
