Google Pixel 6 & 7 are now supported by LineageOS
The Pixel 7 series is around four months old since released to the public and custom ROMs community are already gearing up to support the newly released devices. LineageOS, being one of the largest custom ROM communities, has officially supported both Pixel 6 & 7 series starting today.

Those devices include: Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro. Builds for Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 are now available at the time of posting. Rest of the devices will get it in the next few days. Approximately one month ago, the Pixel 2 series was also promoted to LIneageOS 20 too. And if you feel like installing it, do make sure to check out the respective wiki for your own device to get it running properly.

In case you haven't realised, this is the only custom ROM to currently maintain the complete Pixel series at the same time, which is a whopping of all 19 Pixel devices released till date. Kudos to the team over here.

10 Fun Facts About LineageOS
1. LineageOS version number matched the alphabet numbering of Android, so Android 13 will be T, the 20th alphabet (if only Google didn't ditch the dessert name).

2. LineageOS achieved the record of maintaining every single Google Pixel device back in September 21, 2021, and got back the title yet another time in February 17, 2023 after adding support for the Pixel 6 & 7 series.

3. LineageOS 'long-forgotten birthday is on Christmas Eve, launched back on December 24th, 2016, the same year as when Google Pixel debuted.

4. LineageOS 'existence guided Google on what features to be added to AOSP, which explained why over time LineageOS started to become a bland ROM offering a few features.

5. Galaxy Nexus (maguro, toroplus, toro) is the oldest device to ever receive LineageOS support (Supported: LineageOS 13.0 based on Android 6), released back in October 2011.

6. OnePlus One (bacon) is the oldest device to enter the build roster (since CyanogenMod 11 based on Android 4.4.2) and still being maintained by LineageOS (Current: LineageOS 18.1 based on Android 11), gaining over nine years and eight different versions of support.

7. The OnePlus 5 (cheeseburger) gained initial LineageOS 14.1 based on Android 7.1 support from August 29, 2017, and managed to get promoted all the way till LineageOS 20 based on Android 13, making it one of the devices to gain (near) complete support from LineageOS.

8. LineageOS 16.0 based on Android 9 is the most built-ever version, when nightlies were still a thing.

9. LineageOS 18.1 based on Android 11 is the longest supported version, as many devices failed to get promoted over to LineageOS 19.1 due to eBPF.

10. Old LineageOS versions continued to receive security patches and other commits from communities, despite being discontinued from building further on official build servers.

Google Photos gains more features like Magic Eraser for Google One subscribers and Pixel users
Google Blog

Starting today, Magic Eraser, a new HDR video effect and exclusive collage styles are now available for Google One members on Android and iOS and all Pixel users.

Magic Eraser can remove distractions in photos, like people or objects, and the Camouflage function can change the color of objects to make them blend better in the photo.

The HDR video effect will improve the dynamic range, brightness, and contrast across users' videos for a dramatic and balanced look.

The Collage Editor has been updated with the ability to add frames to single photo, and limited-time styles from artists Yao Cheng Design and DABSMYLA.

Google One members can also enjoy free shipping on prints in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.

LineageOS Builds Archive
Old is gold, sometimes we might want to revert back to old builds as it brings back memories, the original taste, etc. I tried my best searching across the Internet to find official LineageOS builds that are released in the past, and this is everything I came across.

LineageOS 13.0 - LineageOS 20.0
LineageOS 14.1
LineageOS 14.1 & LineageOS 15.1
LineageOS 16.0 & LineageOS 17.1 (20210217)
LineageOS 17.1
LineageOS 18.1+

If you are lucky, you might be able to find some builds for devices that you own. Really hope that LineageOS could at least keep the very last version of their build for all devices at least, which hardly could happen.

We also did our own archive for Pixel devices which can be found here: 16.0 (Pixel 1 series) - Soon | 17.1 (Pixel 1 series) (Pixel 2 series) | 18.1 (Pixel 2 series) (Pixel 5 series) | 19.1 (Pixel 2 series) (Pixel 5 series)

LineageOS Tips, we did it!
After a continuous eleven months of posting, LineageOS Tips has finally come to an end. Going through this journey, yeah, it's not only you, I myself personally discovered a few new features that I haven't realised since I used it.

No one asked for it but if anyone wanted the complete media package of what has been posted in this channel and hope to help promote LineageOS one day or whatever, the zip file is available to download below this post. All these screenshots are being taken from LineageOS 18.1, though it might be an older version but eh, it's pretty much similar to the newer versions anyway.

LineageOS 18.1 Screenshots Media
This package contained all the uncompressed screenshots that are posted on this channel earlier. Actually I lost some of the original files so there are a few of them which are the compressed version one, apologise for that.

Anyway feel free to promote LineageOS with all these screenshots if you want. If you really make use of every single feature in this ROM, it's actually quite interesting to use. Enjoy!
