የመማር እክል የአንድን ሰው መረጃ የመሰብሰብ፣ የማቀነባበር፣ የማከማቸት እና የማግኘት ችሎታን የሚጎዳ የስርዓ ነርቭ እንከን ነው። ይህ እክል እንደ ማንበብ፣ መጻፍ፣ ሂሳብ እና የማመዛዘን ችሎታን የመሳሰሉ የተለያዩ የግንዛቤ ሂደቶች ላይ ተጽእኖ ሊያሳድር ይችላል። የመማር እክል ትክክለኛ መንስኤ ሙሉ በሙሉ ባይታወቅም እንደ የጄኔቲክ የአካባቢያዊ እና የነርቭ መንስኤዎች ጥምረት አስተዋፅኦ እንደሆነ ይገመታል።
የተለያዩ የመማር እክል ዓይነቶች ያሉ ሲሆን
👉ዲስሌክሲያ (የማንበብ ችግር)፣
👉ዲስካልኩሊያ (የሂሳብ ችግር) እና
👉ዲስግራፊያ (የመጻፍ ችግር) ተጠቃሽ ናቸው።
👉በሀገራችን የመማር እክል መስፋፋት በደንብ የተመዘገበ ባይሆንም በሀገሪቱ ቁጥራቸው ቀላል የማይባሉ ህጻናትና ጎልማሶች በእነዚህ ሁኔታዎች ሊጠቁ እንደሚችሉ ይገመታል።
👉የመማር እክል ምዘና/Assessment በአጠቃላይ ሁለገብ ግምገማን ያካትታል፣ ይህም ሳይኮሎጂስቶች፣ አስተማሪዎች እና የጤና ባለሙያዎችን ያካትታል። ይህ ግምገማ ደረጃቸውን የጠበቁ ፈተናዎች፣ ምልከታዎች፣ ቃለመጠይቆች እና የትምህርት እና የህክምና ታሪክ ግምገማዎችን ሊያካትት ይችላል።
👉የመማር እክል ላለባቸው ግለሰቦች የሚደረግ ጣልቃገብነት የትምህርት ድጋፍን፣ የልዩ የፍላጎት ትምህርትን፣ አጋዥ ቴክኖሎጂን እና በክፍል ውስጥ ድጋፍን ሊያካትት ይችላል። ቀደም ብሎ መለየት/early intervention እና ጣልቃገብነት ውጤቶችን ለማሻሻል እና የመማር እክል ያለባቸው ግለሰቦች ሙሉ አቅማቸውን እንዲደርሱ ለመርዳት ወሳኝ ናቸው። በቤተሰቦች፣ በትምህርት ቤቶች እና በጤና እንክብካቤ አቅራቢዎች መካከል ያለው ትብብር ለውጤታማ የጣልቃገብነት ስትራቴጂዎች አስፈላጊ ነው።

Did you know that here at Hawassa University's main campus, our shops and cafes alone use a minimum of 400 plastic bags and about 200 straws daily? That adds up to 600 straws and 18,000 plastic bags every month! Annually, we are contributing around 219,000 plastic bags to our environment.
Let's consider this: it takes a whopping 1,000 years for a plastic bag to degrade in a landfill. Rather than breaking down, they photo-degrade into harmful microplastics that continue to pollute our environment by absorbing toxins.
🌟 Join TEAM SDG's "No Plastic Tuesday" initiative under SDG 13 Climate Action!.
Every Tuesday, we aim to minimize plastic usage by opting for sustainable choices.
🌿 How can you participate?
- 🥄 Use spoons instead of straws.
- 🍱 Bring your own lunch boxes to take away your food.
Let's cut plastic waste and protect the environment environment. 🌿🌟

Our club New Generation has officially launched peer discussions under one group, as per our pre-determined plan. Yesterday's session was absolutely incredible, with solid ideas arising on the topic of addiction. Students shared their perspectives and discussed how to protect themselves from such challenges, drawing from real-life experiences. The heartfelt conversations fostered strong bonds among the students, and we can't wait to continue the discussions over the next 2 weeks with different groups. Stay tuned for updates on the next discussion group! 🗣💬 #Peer Discussion #NewGeneration #StrongerTogether
