Open Telegram Links in Your Favorite Browser One of the worst parts about messaging apps is that anyone can add you to random groups without your active permission. However, the good part is that Telegram gives you an option to disable it altogether. You can change the desired settings from Settings menu -> Privacy and Security -> Groups -> My Contacts and then select all the Telegram users to “Never Allow”. I can’t tell you how much I love this Telegram trick. Hopefully, I have listed enough Telegram features to help you understand why the Telegram app is so popular and secure.

All usernames on Telegram have their own t.me/username links, making it easy to share public profile, group or channel anywhere on the internet. Every username will now have a new unique link format – username.t.me – for those who want to emphasize their name (or have trouble finding the / key). They offer a great opportunity to reach people directly, sending notifications to their devices with every post. Users can join and leave channels at any time. And once they join a channel, they can see its entire message history. Launch the Telegram app on your device and navigate to Settings -> Data and Storage. With the latest updates, Telegram also allows users to have multiple accounts. This is great for people like me who like to keep their work and personal accounts separate. To add a new account, tap on the arrow beside your name and tap on Add Account.

To change your default folder, press and hold a folder in your chat list > Reorder > and drag your preferred folder to the first space. Be careful about giving away too much information when using this. @RateStickerBot – allows you to rate random stickers and discover new sticker sets. You don’t need a separate image/video editor to make your photos/videos more compelling. You can do it right in the telegram app using its intuitive interface.

Because Telegram lets you interact with people even if you aren't in each other's contacts, you may wish to make your account more private.
