We received 24 submissions to our ICCQ conference dedicated to problems with the quality of source code. This is a bit less than we wanted to (30 was the plan), but still enough to make a high-quality conference. I'm not sure how many papers our Program Committee will accept, but we definitely want to publish only the best ones, with the highest quality of content. You still have a chance to register (100+ people already registered) to the event and watch it either online or in on-site in Moscow in HSE University (our partner).

M153: I think there is a simple metric we all can use to understand who the minds of managers in teal organizations work. Just count the amount of message they send you every day and you will understand where you are standing compared to others in your team. No sarcasm. Watch it.

M154: If there is no competition in your team, everybody will soon be interested in making deals and cheating. The only simple rule that may prevent this from happening: when I win, you lose. If such a rule exists there, your team members will always be interested in achieving more instead of compromising the system. Watch it.

M155: It's a well-known "fact": best programmers are 30x times more effective than their average colleagues. How do you reward them? You pay them 30x salaries. Of course, you don't. However, they do deserve such a reward and won't work hard, if you don't give them something of this size. The only replacement of money is recognition, which you can give them only through fair competition. Watch it!

Dogs of Berlin (2018) by Felix Kramer is a semi-gangster saga about modern Europe: racism, violence, inequality, ugly women, handsome men, and a small bit of love, mostly to dogs.

Love, Death & Robots (2019) by Tim Miller is the future of cinematography, I believe. No actors involved, just a director and his/her propaganda supervisor. It’s not art anymore, it’s a weapon.

That’s how you talk to a candidate who asks for too much money. This is a brilliant John Malkovich in a pretty funny comedy series Space Force (2020) by Steve Carell (a much less talented, if you ask me).

Film Kteer Kbeer (2015) by Mir-Jean Bou Chaaya is supposed to be a comedy (according to Netflix), but it’s much more a drama, mostly about management and team work.

Master of None (2015-2017) by Aziz Ansari is a pretty intense and very well filmed story perfectly explaining why I don’t live in the US anymore. Long story short, it's about dating and racism — a very hot mix, perfectly pictured. You have to watch it.

Я выложил у себя на YouTube канале научно-популярный фильм История: Наука или вымысел (2009), все 24 серии. Мне очень интересны идеи Новой Хронологии Фоменко и Носовского, которую официальная наука считает антинаучной. Выложил у себя потому, что нигде не мог найти этот фильм в целом виде, кроме торрентов.
