👨🏫 برخی از افعالی که باید بدون حرف اضافه استفاده شوند، اما بسیاری از افراد به اشتباه، همراه با حرف‌اضافه آنها را بکار می‌برند، عبارتند از:

"می‌تونم برم بیرون و بازی کنم؟" "تا وقتی که تکالیفت رو تموم نکردی، نه."
☑️ It was not until 1972 that the war finally came to an end.
تا قبل از سال 1972 جنگ تموم نشده بود = در سال 1972 جنگ تموم شد.
🧑🏻🏫 ساختار not until اگه در اول کلاز قرار بگیره باعث ایجاد اینورژن در کلاز دوم میشه:
☑️ You cannot go outside until you finish your homework. = Not until you finish your homework can you go outside.
💡 جمله‌ی بالا در واقع به این شکل بوده:

🖋 وجه التزامی فعل برای بیان پیشنهادات، آرزوها و احتمالات استفاده می‌شود و با وجه خبری فعل (indicative) تفاوت دارد. پس از این فعل‌ها verb word بکار می‌رود که برای همه‌ی ضمایر یکسان است و صرف نمی‌شود (بدون استفاده از modalها). برخی از کلماتی که وجه التزامی دارند عبارتند از:

"just as..., so"
این ساختار برای بیان تشابه یا ارتباط بین دو اتفاق یا عمل استفاده میشه. یعنی یک عمل یا اتفاق توسط یک مورد دیگه رخ میده یا تحت تأثیر اون قرار میگیره. .
مثال:
1️⃣ Just as the sun sets, so does our energy level decrease.
همان‌طور که خورشید غروب میکند، انرژی ما هم کاهش می‌یابد.
2️⃣ Just as exercise benefits our physical health, so does reading benefit our mental health.
همان‌طور که ورزش به سلامت جسمی ما کمک میکند، مطالعه به سلامت ذهنی ما کمک میکند.

این ساختار برای بیان تشابه یا ارتباط بین دو اتفاق یا عمل استفاده میشه. یعنی یک عمل یا اتفاق توسط یک مورد دیگه رخ میده یا تحت تأثیر اون قرار میگیره. .
مثال:

تفاوت بین migrate و emigrate:
👨🏫 فعل migrate برای کوچ پرندگان، حیوانات و انسان‌ها از جایی به جای دیگر (برای تهیه‌ی غذا، آب، دمای مناسب) استفاده می‌شود:
• How do birds know when to migrate and how do they find their way back home?
پرنده‌ها از کجا می‌دانند کی باید کوچ کنند و چگونه مسیرشان به خانه را پیدا می‌کنند؟
👨🏫 اما فعل emigrate فقط برای انسان بکار می‌رود و به معنی مهاجرت از یک کشور به یک کشور دیگر است:
• There were no jobs back home so we decided to emigrate.
در محل زندگی ما شغل نبود، بنابراین تصمیم گرفتیم مهاجرت کنیم.
