Hey Degens, we’re back with another update!

Recap
As you might have seen, this week we kicked off our PR efforts with our first Twitter Space and the WSB DApp podcast. This was with @MilleVenus and the Head of Partnerships @decentraland on a few topics, particularly the current WSB + Decentraland partnership. It’s not every day a NFT project reels Decentraland on board as a partner, let alone running a panel together. We hope our listeners learned a thing or two and enjoyed Jaimes’ shameless shilling on the Diamond Hands Pass.

The more we’ve been interacting with the NFT community, the more hyped we’ve become. We started this project to unite the WSB and NFT communities, while adding value to our holders and showering huge financial benefits to those on the WSB DApp. Y’know, REAL f*cking utility.

Our learnings
Since then, we’ve seen a great alikeness in the NFT community to our own. In certain communities, members are fiercely bullish. Paper hands get torn to shreds by bulls, as apes swing in and sweep the floor for everyone. At first glance, it seemed like a zoo. But in these small channels, it’s more like the arc as every creature clambers on before the ship has sailed leaving others drowning in waves of crippling FOMO.

Those who succeed do so when communities work together. Or, as we WSB people like to say, APES TOGETHER STRONG. The WSB community are a certain tribe with certain values. With this mentality we have accomplished some pretty notable achievements. Like, that little GME thing.

It got us thinking. Most people are completely underestimating this project.

A new era for NFTs: This is the WSB takeover.
We’re done with playing politely in the sandpit. From this point onward, we’re going to instill the WSB mentality into this project and anyone who decides to buy in. We’re turning the heat up and throwing paper hands into the fire to fuel this machine. This is the beginning of a rally to unite a community that will ape in and hold these Diamond Hands until the rest of them beg us to sell. Of course, we’ll struggle to hear all that whimpering from the moon.

So now you know where our heads have been for the past few days. And during this time we’ve been working hard on how we’ll make this message clear moving forward, while negotiating some massive influencer interactions, and developing a brand new element that will give early apes more bang for their buck. We stand by our community, and our goal is to make sure our OG supporters become over-the-moon apes.

So, what’s the plan?
To get this finalised, our devs need room to test and our talented artist needs time to finalise the additional artwork and make sure every pixel is looking hot. We’ve had internal discussions over the last few days to shave down the timeline as much as we can, and we’re confident that we can have this ready by shifting the launch back to the 21st of October.

I know many of you have been waiting patiently for the reveal, but we’re working hard to offer extra value, an incentive for early buyers, a sense of urgency for newcomers, and a bunch of extra marketing to light the gas and really fire this whole thing way up 🚀

Looks like most of us are on board with the new timeline and getting extra bullish on this, that’s what we like to see in here.

This is just the beginning. Once the NFT community understands what’s going to happen when we summon the WallStreetBets mentality on this, we’ll be unstoppable.

And we aren’t fcking around. Proof? Minor website updates have been made already including date change - by early next week, the formatting and new sections will be added. For this thing to happen, we’ve got to work together to make sure that whoever buys a Diamond Hands Pass, holds the damn thing through hell or high water. THAT’S how we’re gonna make it. We’re pulling moves to instill this ethos into anyone that considers buying in with bullish messaging, big influencer interactions and Jaime officially transforming into NFT GOD mode on Twitter.
