Vocabulary Telegram

Scheduled: Night mode will start when the sun goes down and turn off when the sun rises again. If you like, you can instead set your own times for it to turn off and on. To create one of these, go to Settings or a Chat Info page, click Edit > click the Profile Picture > select Sticker or Emoji. This saves both time and storage space – so you don't have to save the file before sending it in Telegram. To mute a chat in Telegram, head over to the chat in question. Next, tap the name at the top and then hit the mute button.

To schedule and send silent messages, users can simply type out their messages, but long tap on the send button instead of simply pressing it. This will show you the schedule and silent message options. Request to join a public group Just press and hold on the message you want to change and then tap the “edit” button. If you don’t want messages in your secret chats to hang around forever, Telegram lets you set self-destruct timers to permanently remove them. After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing.
