Prioritize Downloads on Android Customize Your Telegram Table of Contents Self-destruct is a popular feature on Telegram, but it has been limited to the separate “Secret Chat” option only. However, with the recent update, now you can self-destruct media like photos and videos on normal chats too. Just select a photo or video and then tap on the “timer” button. Now, you can choose the time after which the media will be deleted from everywhere.

The app is really awesome for me rather than using other Messaging apps for my day-to-day works. It has all the things that meet my requirements. On Android, simply slide out the left menu and choose New Secret Chat to start a new one. On iPhone, open a chat, tap the contact's name at the top, choose More, and then hit Start Secret Chat. Telegram also supports hashtags. If you tap a hashtag, you can search across all of your activate chats for it. This makes it easy to find messages in the future or categorize information for yourself. Now tap on Notifications and mute the contact for either a custom period of time or forever. I generally leave it for forever.
