A good way to tell if someone is selfish or selfless is to observe them after an argument. An empathetic person will often feel bad for upsetting someone even when they had reason to do so. While a narcissist will show utter disrespect and feel no guilt what so ever.

So Dear to My Heart was a beautiful Christmas animation written by Irving Taylor and Ticker Freeman and sung by John Beal in 1948. During the days that Walt Disney still made content that appealed to our better nature and to a world worth living in. 🎄💔⏳️

The greatest Sainsbury's advert ever made depicting the legendary football games between British and German soldiers during the unofficial Christmas Truce of 1914 (WW1). This touching and well-made scene is a vivid reminder that the men fighting atrocious, uneccessery battles were never enemies, but European relatives who were forced into a family dispute they'd not started. This video is well worth a watch and a share as it truly encompasses the waste of human life, which society seems to have learnt nothing from. Never forget that the price for refusing to fight was to be shot and that they all deserved far better. 🎄⚽️⏳️

A touching tour of the second largest Isle of Scilly, Tresco which is known for its subtropical Abbey Garden, beautiful beaches, and an array of beautiful scenes in the quaint and wholesome 1960s.

Our journey through Mayfair/St James's will pass some of the oldest and most prestigious shops not only in London but the world. The @PubHistoryTours often cover crime and deprivation, but this time, we're covering the height of wealth and power. I can't thank you all enough for the attendance and support you've shown so far and I look forward to this month's Christmas specials. See you all in a few days. 🤝🏆🍻

Before the mass production of food, the domination of supermarkets and all of the questionable addititves that come with them, we had a multitude of privately run, family businesses such as this bakers in the village of Long Melford in England. (1960s)
