Time: 11: 30 AM

This tour will explore the industrial age of Britain and the birth of America. Rotherhithe is where many pilgrims who went to America (the new world) lived and where they departed from. Rotherhithe has a host of history covering piracy, the docks, and much more. Please keep in mind that there's little at the station so if you get there early there's not much in the immediate vacinty until we start walking.

Join us for a walk and a few refreshments as we delve into the living museums of #Britain.

The tours will last between 2-1/2 to 3 hours (usually more) and will end in a pub.

Prices: £20 per ticket (for over 18s),
16-18: £10
Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult)

Ran into Tom Roswell (Survive the Jive), one of the few people I truly hold in high regard. In this moment, our power levels merged like the joining of lightning bolts.

It would be absolutely wonderful if there were places that were as culturally stimulating and socially binding for the people of Britain as its beautiful pubs. But unfortunately, there isn't.

Have you noticed that it's always our wonderful old brickwork and tunnels that have this noncy rubbish sprayed all over it? It's never the many ugly newbuilds going up. If I had my way, this would be methodically cleaned and protected instead of being plastered with perverted symbolism and being tackified with overtly ugly colour schemes.

Just because I am married to the South does not mean that I am not madly in love with the North and our beloved Midlands.

If you are of a certain age, then it isn't that you think your childhood was better than today, but that it actually was.

If you love London, but this video of Brixton in the 1980s doesn't cut you deeply, then, you never really loved London.

Socialism is like a gun in the way that it's only as evil as the person who uses it. Communism however is like a murderer as it has no good within it. Understanding the difference is to understand why Communism was a deliberate attempt to plagerise the very meaning and use of the socialistic system which was never meant to be a sweeping policy but used for specific avenues.

We have an in-depth discussion with Pat, an experienced landlord, a true south Londoner, and, most of all, an absolute gentleman. We discuss his beautiful pub and the good times it's had. We also delve into many subjects relating to the modern pub scene and how it contrasts with the past. This man has more stories and knowledge than most people with published autobiographies. I could listen to him all day, especially in relation to all he's seen within the rough yet united areas south of the river.
