The City Of York’s Submersive Pub - The Kings Arms, 3 King's Staith, #York, #England, #YO1

The beautifully preserved 'City of York' has many wonders to observe. Among them is a well kept riverside pub named the 'King's Arms' which isn't only famous for flooding, but has an abundance of history to its name. We enjoy a quiet drink beside the river as we discuss the pub and its importance to the historic city of York. 🍻🀝

Similar to many parts of #Europe, #England has absolutely no excuse to embrace modern architecture when we're so spoilt with an abundance of far more impressive, awe-inspiring works of art in which to take example.

Residents of 1970s #Southwark, #London have their say on how they feel that they're are being driven out by newcoming developers who are moving in and pricing them out of the market in order to pave the way for the corporate, standoffish, and gentrified area we know today.

I've noticed that pretentious people who always drone on about their "worth" tend to end up with no one around them because of their inability to realise that they're simply an unlikable narcasist as opposed to something special.

Something else that niggles me is when people say that it's incredibly easy for them to "cut people out" of their life. This, to me, is code for the fact that they're so self obsessed and lacking in patience, compassion, loyalty, and love that they're not worthy of dedication.

The vandalised Bundeswehr Military History Museum (1877), which sits in #Dresden, #Germany, is a prime example of what architectural and cultural terrorism looks like. Not only do new museums/galleries look repugnant, but they'll even destory the few classy ones we have left. 🀬

Antifa are not entitled to freedom, never mind an opinion. Never, ever give such immoral scum an inch of respect or authenticity.

Something to fill in the gaps. Before you moan about how small it is, I've already eaten twice. So, instead, I will let you complain about my hash browns..

Doggie Heat Warning β˜€οΈπŸ•

I'm sure you already know, but in case anyone forgot, please remember to keep your dogs cool and hydrated in hot weather. Be it warm or baking, dogs genuinely aren't fans of the heat, and this goes for houses as well as cars. Every year, many dogs suffer from heat stroke or worse because it's so easy to forget not to walk them in hot conditions or not to leave them in cars during hot weather. As I mentioned, I'm sure you're all more than capable of looking after your beloved pooches, but if there weren't so many mistakes made each year, I'd have no reason to say this. Pass on (or share) this post and the above information to anyone you know who cares for the life of a dog or dogs. Thank you and take care. 🀝
