Yesterday, we visited the Cross Keys in #CoventGarden, where we enjoyed a great selection of lagers within an antiquitous setting. There aren't many public houses that tick as many boxes as this one. Pilsner Urquell and Budweiser Budvar alone are enough to make this one of London's top pubs. The group seemed to be as impressed with this public house as I was the first time I laid eyes on it. Lads, I'm at Custom House, where a load of lunatics dressed as animals and anime characters are heading to what must be the Excel Centre. Right, I know we've taken the piss out of them for years, but looking at the women's outfits, I think I'll be attending the next one.
Only when you see the few streets left in #London to have trees does one realise how many we've lost. This is how a great many streets should look instead of simply hosting a bleak array of overly colourful, tasteless new builds that create space station vibes.

As much as I love the idea of #London being built of brick, cement and stone it would have been magnificent to see its numerous wooden structures that resembled a very different city that's been long lost since the "Great Fire" of 1666.
