The death of London is felt through the people who act as its veins. Londons erosion destroys the hearts and minds of those who love it. Whenever she's gone, I hope that when the time comes, we shall join her once again. Farewell #London, we barely knew thee.

Welsh Harp 🍻

#Essex/#Hertfordshire mean the world to me so it was very special to be warmly welcomed by such lovely owners and their charming staff.
If you're local you'll know this pub has struggled in the past, let's do our best to keep it alive. 🤝

Welsh Harp 🍻 - Market Sq, #WalthamAbbey, #Essex, #EN9

FULL 🎞 (High Quality)

#WalthamAbbey is a treasure trove of fascinating history. This gorgeously wonky pub building may well date back to the foundations of the Abbey itself, though it's difficult to say. The welcoming landlord, landlady, their daughter, and their charming barmaid welcomed and aided us in our project. We'd like to thank them not just for our welcome but for saving a pub we'd thought we'd lost. Instead of listing endless historical facts, I'll say watch the full video and, if possible, visit this charming public house while it's kind are still here to enjoy.

Chivalry ends where feminism begins.
This beautiful house in the tiny village of #GreatEaston in #Essex was once a pub called the Old Bell. The name can still be seen on the building. What an honour it must be to live there. It’s also a few yards from a charming little pub that's still trading. @BritainsPubshttps @LostAndLivingPubs
