Located in Baysville, Eastern Cape, South Africa, the school is for learners who will thrive in an environment focused on practical skills rather than a mainstream academic curriculum. ☀️
Buying solar cells in this project is supporting a school to go solar and save on energy costs so that the school can further invest in learners and educational resources and significantly reduce carbon emissions for 20 years.
This will be a solar plant equipped with a battery storage system, meaning less disruption from power outages experienced during the country’s electricity black outs.
