Go to Settings > Chat Settings to create your own theme. In Telegram, you can use hashtags in your Channels and Groups. When you use a hashtag in a message, that word becomes clickable. And, channel or group users able to click the hashtag to get instant search results from their Telegram messages. This kind of feature can make conversations more orderly while increasing the value of each individual message. You can enable this option from the “Group Permission” section. Keep it on forever, or toggle as necessary to throttle rush hour traffic.

Now tap on Notifications and mute the contact for either a custom period of time or forever. I generally leave it for forever. To use this feature, choose “location” from the attachment menu and tap on “Share my location for…” Next up, tap Sound and then choose your custom notification sound located under the Telegram Tones section. Interestingly, Telegram names your custom notification sound as Cloud Tone and also allows you to upload any audio as a notification sound for a chat.
