Join Requests for Public Groups To create a channel, right swipe on the homepage, and tap on “New Channel”. Provide your channel name, description, select channel type, and create a unique URL. That’s it. To mute a chat in Telegram, head over to the chat in question. Next, tap the name at the top and then hit the mute button.

To create a poll in a channel or group, simply select the “Poll” option in the attachment menu. Type in your question, add answer options and choose the configurations that fit your purpose best.
