You will find four options: keep media on your device for three days, one week, one month, or forever. Telegram allows edit, unsend sent messages even for the other people on the same chat. It allows to unsend messages shared with the first 48 hours after sending. All your normal chat media will be saved in your cloud storage. But, secret chats are not a part of the Telegram cloud. Sometimes you don’t want to leave any evidence of what nonsense you are about to say. Instead of deleting chats manually, you can use self destruct messages on secret chats by setting a timer.
