A small observation on cost of living between Canada and Kerala

Today I was watching some Reels and came across a Influencer talking about Shavai chicken (Karangunna Kozhi/Narakithile kozhi) at some place. The cost was 450rs for a full chicken. At Costco near my home a big rottiserie chicken is 7.99$ (Canadian $) - thats approx 500rs. Looks like there is not much difference in cost and alerted me that phoren money-il valiya karyam onnum illa alle?

Bread 1 packet = 2 C$
Milk 1 ltr = 1.68$
1 Dozen egg = 3.93$
