ഇത്രേ ഉള്ളു കാര്യം . കഴക്കൂട്ടത്ത് വരുന്നവർ ഓട്ടോ സ്റ്റാന്റിൽ നിന്ന് മാറി നിന്ന് rapdio/ola/uber വിളിക്കുക. സ്റ്റാൻഡിൽ ഉള്ള ചേട്ടന്മാർക്ക് ഇനിയും സൂര്യൻ ഉദിച്ചിട്ട് ഇല്ല. അവര് ചോദിക്കുന്ന റേറ്റ് കേട്ടാൽ തലകറങ്ങും. പോലീസും കണക്കാണ്.

ഒരുപക്ഷേ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ആളുകളെ ചൂഷണം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഓട്ടോക്കറുടെ ഒരു കണക്ക് എടുത്താൽ അതിൽ ആദ്യ സ്ഥാനത്ത് തന്നെ നമ്മുടെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം കഴക്കൂട്ടം സ്റ്റാൻഡുകളിൽ നിന്ന് പിടിക്കുന്ന ഓട്ടോ ചേട്ടന്മാർ (Note: ഏത് നാലാം ക്ലാസ്സും ഗുസ്തിയും മാത്രം അറിയാവുന്ന കുറച്ച് നല്ല ചേട്ടനമാർ ) കാണും എന്നത് തർക്കമില്ലാത്ത കാര്യമാണ്.
2017 മുതൽ ഇതിനുയാതൊരു വിത്യാസം ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല . റെയിൽവേസ്റ്റേഷൻ, ബസ്സ്സ്റ്റാൻഡ് എന്നുവിടങ്ങിൽ നിന്നും ടെക്നോപാർക്കിലോട്ട് ഓട്ടോ പിടിച്ചാൽ പിന്നെ പറയേണ്ട കൊലപാതകമാണ് .ഇവരുടെ ചിന്താഗതിയിൽ ടെക്നോപാർക്കിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നവർ അമേരിക്കൻ ബൂർഷ കമ്പനിയിൽ ചുമ്മാ ഇരുന്നു ലക്ഷങ്ങൾ സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നുമാറ്റോ ആണ്.
സംഗതി മാറി തുടങ്ങി ടെക്നോപാർക്ക് ജോലിക്കാരും മിഡിൽ ക്ലാസ്സും പതുക്കെ ഓൺലൈനിലേക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞു അല്ലേൽ കഴുത്തുവരകത്തവരെ നേരിട്ട് വിളിച്ച് തുടങ്ങി. നല്ല ലാഭം. സ്വാഭാവികമായി നമ്മുടെ ചേട്ടന്മാരുടെ ഓട്ടം കുറഞ്ഞു . ഒത്തിരി ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ ഓൺലൈൻ ഓട്ടോ ഓടിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ നമ്മുടെ തലമൂത്ത ഓട്ടോ ചേട്ടന്മാർക്ക് ഭയങ്കര ചൊറിച്ചിൽ. ഇപ്പോ ചേട്ടന്മാർ അറിയാവുന്ന ഗുണ്ടായിസം തുടങ്ങി.

ഇന്ന് കഴക്കൂട്ടം പഴയ ബസ്സ് സ്റ്റാൻഡിന്റെ അടുത്ത് നിന്ന് റാപ്പിഡോ ഓട്ടോ ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത് . ഡ്രൈവർ ഫ്രണ്ട് ഗേറ്റിന്റെ അവിടെ നിന്ന് ഓടി എത്തിയപ്പോൾ വർക്ക് ചെയ്യാത്ത പോലീസ് റെഡ് ബട്ടണിട്ട് സൈഡ് ഇൽ വച്ച് ഞാൻ അതിൽ കയറി.
അപ്പോൾ ആണ് മേൽ പറഞ്ഞ ഓട്ടോ ചേട്ടന്മാർക്ക് ചൊറിച്ചിൽ തുടങ്ങിയത്, ഓട്ടോ തടഞ്ഞു, ഓൺലൈൻ ഓട്ടോകൾക്ക് ഇവിടെ പ്രവേശനം ഇല്ല എന്നാണ് ന്യായം . റാപ്പിഡോ ക്യാപ്റ്റൻ വളരെ നല്ല ക്ഷമയോടുകൂടെ പറഞ്ഞു കസ്റ്റമർ വിളിച്ചത് കൊണ്ടാണ് വന്നത് എന്ന് . ചേട്ടന്മാർ വിടുന്നില്ല ഞാൻ പോലീസിനെ വിളിക്കാം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ നമ്മുടെ ചേട്ടന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു അവര് വിളിക്കാമെന്ന് (അപ്പോ പുരിയല്ലേ ഇപ്പോ പൂരിയത്) .
ഞാൻ വിളിച്ച് നമ്മുടെ എസ് ഐ ഏമാൻ തന്നെ വന്നു (കുട്ടി മാമ ഞാൻ ഞെട്ടി മാമ ) എസ് ഐ തന്നെ നേരിട്ട് വന്നിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ കാര്യം അവതരിപ്പിച്ച്, ട്വിസ്റ്റ് എന്നെ മാറ്റി നിർത്തിയിട്ട് റാപ്പിഡോ ഓട്ടോ കാരന്റെ നെഞ്ചത്തോട്ട് എസ് ഐ യും നമ്മുടെ ‘ ചേട്ടന്മാരും ’. ഇടപെടാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചപ്പോൾ എന്നോട് മാറി നില്കാനും. അപ്പോൾ ആണ് മനസിലായത് ഇവരൊക്കെ ഒരു സെറ്റ് ആണ് . പത്ത് മിനിറ്റ് റാപ്പിഡോ കാപ്റ്റനെ ഉപദേശിച്ചിട്ട് നമ്മുടെ എസ് ഐ സാർ ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു . (ശിവത്തിലെ ബിജു മേനോനെ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു വന്നതോ നമ്മുടെ സിബിഐ ഡയറി കുറുപ്പിലെ സുകുമാരനും) എന്താ അല്ലേ ?
തിരിച്ചും ഞാൻ റാപ്പിഡോ തന്നെ വിളിച്ച് റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ പോയത് . ഓൺലൈൻ ഓടുന്ന ഓട്ടോക്കാർ ചേർന്ന ചെറിയ കൂട്ടായ്മ ഉണ്ടാക്കി ഇതിനെ ചെറുക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി എന്ന് അറിയാൻ സാധിച്ചു. നല്ല കാര്യം. നാളെ ഇവരും ഈ ചേട്ടനമാരെ പോലെ ആകില്ല എന്ന് നമ്മുക്ക് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാം. പ്രതികരിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുമെങ്കിൽ പ്രതികരിക്കുക.

2017 മുതൽ ഇതിനുയാതൊരു വിത്യാസം ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല . റെയിൽവേസ്റ്റേഷൻ, ബസ്സ്സ്റ്റാൻഡ് എന്നുവിടങ്ങിൽ നിന്നും ടെക്നോപാർക്കിലോട്ട് ഓട്ടോ പിടിച്ചാൽ പിന്നെ പറയേണ്ട കൊലപാതകമാണ് .ഇവരുടെ ചിന്താഗതിയിൽ ടെക്നോപാർക്കിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നവർ അമേരിക്കൻ ബൂർഷ കമ്പനിയിൽ ചുമ്മാ ഇരുന്നു ലക്ഷങ്ങൾ സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നുമാറ്റോ ആണ്.

Why we don't have a proper unique address
I built a new building recently and ordered some stuff online. They were not able to find my exact address and I had to do 10-15 phone calls at 2:00am (I am in a different time zone) while the poor delivery guy was hopelessly roaming around in a huge vehicle. It didn't help that the online company didn't have an option where I can send my exact Google map location and they don't allow the delivery guy to contact me directly through my phone number. The whole experience was really frustrating.
In many countries, finding a building based on the address is straight forward. The address will be mostly Building number, road name, City name and postal code. You type that address in Google map, it will show you exactly where it is. Here we don't have a proper address. House name, first address, second address, nearby place what not. It is not like we don't have building number for these buildings! Why can't our government make some effort in creating a proper address system!

Issue with newly bought land
Hi I have recently bought land. It is a front property of a larger property. The seller has provided access to the property behind mine, using a 3.1m private road on the left side of my property. On the front, left side, my property has a sharp edge at 3.4 m distance from the neighbor's boundary. As it is a sharp turn, which could hinder vehicles moving into the private road, I have provided extra space there and created an adequate bend as per my engineer's suggestion. My immediate family members are against this, as they say I am wasting my hard earned money by giving it away.
The issue is, the buyer of the land behind mine is a hooligan/gunda. He says thats not enough and needs more space. We have provided adequate space there which is confirmed by our engineer and contractor. This owner creates a ruckus, a loud mouth, abuses verbally and at times threatens. I am not someone who could properly react to these. And I am too worried & stressed on what I should do. This is my first home, and it became a nuisance even before I have started building a home. Can someone please suggest what should I do?
