Male doctors doing checkups for Females for the immigration medical check up?

Hey Guys
My sister recently had gone to Kozhikode National Hospital near the KSRTC bus stand on the IG road.

She was asked to strip into her innerwear for them to check her body for injection marks and scars.

I wanted to ask if this is normal?
As in a male doctor checking a female patient?
My sister unfortunately froze in the moment and did not ask for a female doctor but came out feeling uncomfortable.

I want to know if this the norm here ? Especially in a conservative district like Kozhikode…

Where do married brides keep wedding gold jewelry after marriage?

Im an NRI indian who recently got married to another in thrissur, both of our houses are omly 20-30min away. Im an only child, and i wore my mother’s gold for my wedding and after the wedding i gave it back to her to be kept back in the locker. And on the 3rd after the marriage, my father in law enquired where the gold was kept, and when i told that it is with my parents, he was quite disappointed and told that it needs to be moved into a separate joint locker near their home in the name of my husband and me and that this matter should have been discussed with their family. I was quite shocked by this whole conversation as in my family i have never heard of in laws enquiring about their daughter in laws gold or neither did i see any reason in discussing this with them. For me it was quite natural to give the gold back to my mom so that we both can use it and im an only child, so its mine eventually, nobody else is going to claim a right to it so it doesn’t matter where it is.
A few days later they went back to my parents without my knowledge to discuss the same issue and they both got into a heated argument. My parents refused to move the gold. They keep saying anything i wore on the wedding day should be given away to me and kept separate.
My husbands family said they don’t want any kind of dowry before the wedding and then this kind of behavior comes up after the wedding.

And they keep insisting that gold needs to be moved.
Does everyone in kerala open a new locker after wedding? Are we thinking too much?
