I am not from Kerala and I need your help/insights regarding this.

I am from Haryana. Via Keam counciling I got Dr Moopens' Medical college. Now I know Wayanad is a hill station and overall less developed than rest of Kerala.

I need your personal opinions on Wayanad and the college if you know about it. Please be honest and tell me what the common opinion is either it's good or bad.


And also if you know anyone from that college it would be huge help if I could contact them. Thank you:)

What is the etymology of Vaazha?

So I was watching this movie "VAAZHA" and the literal translation is "good for nothing".

Why is it so, I get it that it can't be used for wood and all, but the fruit, the flower, the stem..all are uesd in our food.

So why has it been called useless tree or used to insinuate that a person in useless (aka vaazha)??

Kerala's gross enrolment ratio in higher education is 42 % (data attached). Just out of curiosity, what about the rest 58%, what do they do moving forward? Offcourse not everyone wants to go to University, but 58% is quite a big number.
