People of Serebryanka neighborhood in Minsk went out or a night walks. In this video, you can hear people chanting:

● “We believe, we can, we will prevail!”
● “Long Live Belarus!”
● “The people united will never fall!”

Do these people just don't like Christmas songs or maybe do they consider these slogans (also mottos and memes) as refrains of a Christmas song itself?

During today's rallies Minskers launch white and red balloons into the sky.
Local rallies started early in the morning today. Every block of Minsk enjoyed its own march, not synchronized with other neither in time nor in place. Columns met each other numerously.

“Turn on your brain, not your TV,” one of local marching columns chanting.
Several dozen children (orphans and those whose parents lost “parent's license”) from Radoshkovichi were invited for the tour by the Minsk riot police. Children were welcome to try prisoners vehicle, and observed an exhibition of weapons; pistols and grenade launchers were introduced.

Dmitry Balaba, head of Minsk riot police, said the police “tried to do everything to make them [orphans] feel family-like and provide ones with vivid impressions.”
