Khapun is local word (in both Belarusian and Russian) for serial randomized detentions.

According to @spiski_okrestina Telegram channel, 220 people were detained today. Human rights center “Viasna” reported 177 detainees.

In Smolevichi, a school class was taken to the police station. Young people were returning from a waltz rehearsal for the graduation ceremony.

The schoolchildren say they were taken to the backyard and told to stay facing the wall - but then released and apologized. The Ministry of Internal Affairs denies that the children were put against the wall.
