Svetlana Alexievich will not return to Belarus while Lukashenko is in power. This is what she said in her interview to “Der Spiegel”.

“What he's doing is a catastrophe. From the moment when the elections were falsified in August, 27 thousand people were arrested: scientists, professors, normal people, workers, students. This concerns all the strata of the population. Lukashenko is destroying the country,” Alexievich said.
