ቅዳሜ መጋቢት 29 ቀን፣ 2017 ዓ.ም የኢትዮጵያ የስፔስ ሳይንስ ሶሳይቲ ከካሊፎርኒያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሳንታ ክሩዝ እና ላስ ኩምብሬስ ኦብዘርቫቶሪ (ኤልሲኦ) ጋር በመተባበር ተማሪዎችን ከሙያዊ የስነ ፈለክ ጥናት ጋር የሚያቀራርብ የሻዶው ዘሳይንቲስት መርሐግብር አካሂዶል ።
🚀🔭ሻዶው ዘሳይንቲስት ተማሪዎችን ከተመራማሪዎች ጋር የሚያገናኝ መርሐግብር ሲሆን ይህም ተማሪዎች የሳይንሳዊ ምርምርን አካሄድ እንዲረዱ እና እንዲለማመዱ ልዩ እድል የሚሰጥ ነው። በመርሐግብሩ በበይነመረብ የተካሄደ ሲሆን ስለ ኤልሲኦ ኦብዘርቫቶሪ አሰራር እንዲሁም የሰማይ አካላትን የተጣራ መረጃን ለማግኘትት የማይፈለጉ ምልክቶችን ከጥሬ መረጃ የማስወገድ ሂደት ወይም በዳታ ሪዳክሽን ዙሪያ ያተኮረ ነበር፡፡
የስልጠናው መርሐግብር የተመራው በየኢ.ስ.ሳ.ሶ ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ኪሩቤል መንበሩ ሲሆን ጃሜካ ማርሻል ከካሊፎርኒያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሻዶው ዘሳይንቲስት እና ዶ/ር ጄ ዲ አርምስትሮንግ ከ ኤልሲኦ ኦብዘርቫቶሪ እውቀታቸውን በማካፈል ለተሳታፊዎችን ተግባራዊ ስልጠና ሰጥተዋል።
ይህ መርሐግብር እንደ ሱፐርኖቫ፣ አክቲቭ ጋላክቲክ ኒዩክላይ (AGN)፣ ባይነሪ ስታርስ እና ቫሪያብል ስታርስ ባሉ ርዕሶች ላይ ከ ኤልሲኦ ኦብዘርቫቶሪ የሚገኝ መረጃን በመጠቀም ሳይንሳዊ ምርምር ለመጀመር በዝግጅት ለይ ለሚገኙ ተማሪዎች ታላቅ እድል መፍጠር የቻለ ነበር፡። 🚀🔭
