Interesting Facts from the Aviation Weather Prediction #DataChallenge using #AI and #ML✈️☁️

Participants analyzed more than 90,000 METAR reports for Miami International Airport #KMIA, spanning 10 years.

The highest temperatures occurred between July-August, from 4 pm to 6 pm. The lowest temperatures were recorded in December and January in the early mornings (6:00 am to 9:00 am).🌡️

Miami experienced an increase in mean temperatures from an average of 25.01°C in 2014 to 26. 24°C by 2023.

Predicting wind direction and cloud types was particularly challenging, while forecasts for temperature, dew point, air pressure, and visibility were more accurate.🌬️
