Ocean Data Farming (DF) is like DeFi liquidity mining, but tuned to drive Data Consume Volume (DCV) in the Ocean ecosystem.

Each week, DF emits OCEAN: 50% to passive rewards and 50% to active rewards.
Passive rewards go to veOCEAN holders with no additional actions
Active rewards go to veOCEAN holders who have pointed their veOCEAN to data assets with high Data Consume Volume (DCV).
Typical APYs are 5–20%, but may be as high as 45% and as low as 1%. APYs will vary week to week.
APY depends on total OCEAN staked, duration of OCEAN lock, DCV, and other factors.
