Referendum 16 is up to vote until ~Wednesday, May 31. If passed, this batched proposal will accept/open an HRMP channel with Mangata Network and register MGX as an XC-20 asset. This will establish a bi-directional channel between Manta and Moonriver and allow for cross-chain MOVR/MGX token transfers.

Expect chaos. Due to a misconfiguration in the original proposal, the enactment failed in OpenGov. This is the first HRMP channel to be opened through OpenGov. Moving forward, community members will be the ones who make proposals to open new XCM integrations in addition to voting in on-chain governance.
